Volcanic Age - Chapter 5
The refined Plum Blossom Qi Art
Ju Seo-Cheon had been alive for more than 77 years before traveling back in time to his younger self. Of course, he was unable to fully recall all of his childhood recollections.
He did, however, have a faint recollection of the Plum Blossom Qi Art in its developed form.
Anyone joining the Mount Hua sect was initially instructed in the Plum Blossom Qi Art to assist them to develop their inner core. to develop one’s dantian and lay the groundwork for martial arts. He had learned this technique, and he would never forget it.
“At the time, all I did was try to experience the energy somehow.”
When Ju Seo-Cheon was younger, he was constantly concerned about how skilled he would be in martial arts if his master decided to take him on as a disciple.
Wouldn’t his martial arts instructor leave him if he didn’t do well?
The other disciples also suffered from this; they were left orphaned and starved in addition to Ju Seo-Cheon.
They did not starve during their Hua Sect training, despite it being extremely arduous and torturous; instead, the Hua Sect provided food so they could constantly be full. Winter also eliminated the need to think about food.
Ju Seo-Cheon put a lot of effort into his martial arts training to avoid being left behind by his master.
But despite his best efforts, he lacked the necessary talent, so learning the Plum Blossom Qi Art required him to endure much hardship.
“Ha…and now I have to compel the delay,”
Ju Seo Cheon’s already obtained mental Enlightenment made it easy for him to train and improve his Plum Blossom Qi Art skills once more.
However, if he were to do that, his master and the elders would notice and they might cause a scene.
They were not as skilled in the craft as he was, of course, but he couldn’t truly improve after just one lesson.
It’s challenging to spot talent because, even if the world’s most gifted individual approaches you and claims to be the best, this cannot be decided until their abilities are put to the test.
However, Ju Seo-teacher Cheon’s was now constantly keeping an eye on him, so he had to wait patiently for the day when he was no longer under his supervision.
It had been a year.
Ju Seo-Cheon was now 9 years old.
“Oh, that’s wonderful, you’ve finally reached the fifth stage.”
Yoo Jung-Mok gave Ju Seo-Cheon a sweet smile and rubbed her head. Despite appearing timid, Ju Seo-Cheon was still smirking. At first, it was difficult when his master spoke to him in a childlike manner.
Regardless of how he appeared on the outside, he was still an elderly man who was older than 70. He is not yet old enough to quickly adjust to new situations.
Yoo Jung-Mok could not possibly have known it, though. “You did well at everything I ordered you to do,” he said while patting Seo-head. Cheon’s
In time, Ju Seo-Cheon had also grown up. He was dishonorable, but not necessarily bad.
The one thing he had ever valued in his prior lives was having someone by his side all the time.
Yoo Jung-Mok was that individual.
If Seo-Cheon claimed he didn’t miss his master’s touch, it would be a lie.
Forgetting about his age and everything else, he was delighted to hear Yoo Jung-Mok compliment him.
“Starting today, you must train independently. It will be challenging, but I have faith that you can succeed”. Yoo Jung-Mok apologized in his statement.
“Finally!!!”
Due to the presence of his teacher, he hid his happiness, despite the fact that he was ecstatic and was cheering with his arms open inwardly.
Yoo Jung-Mok assisted him with his martial arts training throughout the previous year.
And as a result, he was unable to practice what he desired.
But that’s over now. He would finally be able to finish what he had put off for so long.
“Fortunately, it wasn’t very boring.”
Slowly honing the Qi Art he already mastered was terribly tiresome and monotonous.
He had become weary of doing it repeatedly.
Reliving the Nakan Hell was equally excruciating; even though Ju Seo-Cheon had endured much more suffering in the past, it was still difficult.
He felt the need to kill the teachers who trained the students to the point of death while knowing the limits of their bodies.
Even after all the training, if you still had any energy, they would make you train even harder, pushing you to the point of exhaustion. Even though he had the chance to live his life a second time, he really didn’t want to return to Nakan Hell.
And…
His memories had been organized, which was the most significant thing.
He knew exactly what would happen next. His memories, though, are still flawless.
The amount of memory that can be passively stored by the human mind has a clear upper bound. A lifetime of memories make it nearly hard to recall them all in exquisite detail.
So just to make sure that he wouldn’t forget anything.
He frantically kept track of and remembered any significant upcoming events.
He wanted to compile all of his experiences into a book, but he was worried that if anyone read it and remembered it, he wouldn’t be aware of all the potential complications.
Of course, would anyone believe this even if they looked at it? Although it might be disregarded, he obviously cannot disregard the exceptions.
He did this by writing his recollections on soil and immediately erasing them.
Ju Seo-Cheon made ideas for how to proceed going forward as he organized these recollections.
Even in his advanced age, he frequented the library despite the rumor that there was nothing to do there. It was beneficial to him.
A Hua Sect Elder has to be very intelligent in addition to having a solid grasp of martial arts.
It was crucial to be able to hold diplomatic discussions, especially since the era of war had ended.
When he was chosen as the elder, he wanted to be respected as a legitimate elder rather than just someone who had been given the position.
“And the wait is finally over!”
