Volcanic Age - Chapter 11
“Did you steal it?”
Ju Seo Cheon was the subject of a head-up by Yu Jong Mok.
“No.”
Ju Seo Cheon rejected it with a slanted headshake.
“Speak the truth, did you steal it?”
“No.”
So, did you deceive other people?
“Definitely Not,”
Ju Seo Cheon provided negative responses to each question.
There was no indication of uncertainty or trepidation.
His eyes gleamed like the pure, righteous eyes of Yu Jong Mok.
But there was a determination in those eyes that looked to have the desire to achieve what they set out to do.
“So, from where did you receive this?”
“Um…”
Ju Seo Cheon was honest with Yu Jong Mok, although he wasn’t really honest.
Only when Yu Jong Mok wasn’t around did he sneak out of Hua Sect and head to the submerged cave. Since he was from the future, he refrained from saying anything absurd.
He didn’t lie to hide it, though. No, it would be more accurate to say that he was unable to say it.
Yu Jong Mok bowed his head without speaking.
“It appears that you continue to withhold information from me.”
Ju Seo Cheon stumbled and seemed startled. He didn’t say it out loud, but the uncertainty on his face suggested that he was wondering “how he knew.”
The Water Spirit Fruit, which was still in Ju Seo Cheon’s hands, was stroked by Yu Jong Mok.
“I can tell from the expression in your eyes.”
“Master… I”
“Stop.”
The Fruit of the Water Spirit was given to Yu Jong Mok by his student.
“I’ll have faith in you.”
Once that was over, he remained silent.
And that was all.
He made no inquiries or questions.
Yu Jong Mok took the comments of a nine-year-old child at face value. He did have some reservations, but he never voiced them.
He didn’t even speak after receiving the amazing treatment.
“Is that actually the conclusion?”
Ju Seo Cheon, on the other hand, was the one who was in question.
“How…why don’t you doubt anything?”
He was the one who desired that his lord simply let things go. But even after giving it some thought, he still found this circumstance odd.
Yu Jong Mok responded to the query with a gentle smile, as is customary.
“Who would believe his apprentice if the master doesn’t? If I had any actual doubts, I would have asked this question a year ago.”
Ju Seo Cheon opened his mouth to speak but quickly closed it in shock.
“So he was aware of it…”
He had to deliberately act like a child when he went back in time a year ago to avoid raising suspicion.
He had believed that his performance was flawless, yet it was in vain. From one to ten, Yu Jong Mok understood everything.
Ju Seo Cheon’s expression underwent a significant alteration and added some words as Yu Jong Mok grinned coldly.
“Even I am not precisely sure what it is. However, I could tell that you were trying to hide the fact that you had grown up at some point.”
No matter how quickly a child grew, it had a limit.
His disciple was acting strangely as a result of his attentive observation of his disciple.
He initially believed that he had sensed the devil.
In some instances, if your martial arts training goes awry, you can become crazy.
It wasn’t by accident that masters lingered close by to watch over their followers. Because they were young, they occasionally made blunders.
However, it appeared that was also untrue.
He had given it some thought and had come up with some theories, but none of them made sense.
He could only utter the word ‘fine.’
“You concealed it because of specific circumstances, correct?”
Ju Seo Cheon gave a nod.
“If that’s the case, there ought to be a justification for why you brought me this wonderful medicine. Then, there is no turning back.”
Ju Seo Cheon was hugged by Yu Jong Mok.
“Master…I’m grateful.”
Leaning on his face, the disciple sobbed and held his master passionately. Yu Jong Mok patted Ju Seo Cheon on the back while making a joke.
“You peed yourself down there, and now you’re peeing upwards as well.”
“Master… That is somewhat…”
The whole of his body was in excruciating anguish.
Even in his previous life, he hadn’t experienced suffering quite like this. No, perhaps this was the first time he had experienced it.
“Something is not right,”
Ju Seo Cheon lost his train of thought as a result of the anguish that spread to his arms—no, to his entire body. His muscles appeared to be torn apart and his bones creaked.
His hands were covered in blisters, and some of his nails were already broken. The suffering that ensued was no laughing matter.
He began practicing enhanced gymnastics four days ago.
It started out being basic gymnastics.
He warmed up as Yu Jong Mok had instructed him.
Gymnastics was so basic.
He then needed to use the Light Step Arts to complete a roundtrip.
As soon as he followed instructions, he instantly expended all of his internal energy.
After that, Yu Jong Mok complimented him and drags him somewhere.
It was downwind of a cliff.
“Climb up now.”
