My schedule says to stay here for 2 nights and three days — It’s not that long, but I didn’t come here to play in the sea.

Full of vigor the students had changed into their bathing suits and made their way to the beach frolicking.

As I watched them do so, I left out a small sigh.

I had no need to blame them for what they did. Most of the students had already changed into their bathing suits and started playing as soon as they could.

The first day of our trip here was to focus on life near the sea. There were some making castles out of the sand, and the girls were playing in the water.

Most of the boys watched them as they did.

It was my duty to make sure that the students wouldn’t go anywhere dangerous. There were no shady spots on the beach though, so I borrowed a parasol and sat a bit away from most of the students.

It wasn’t just the students that enjoyed the ocean water — There were also the people from the town nearby and other tourists that showed up at the beach.

Among them were also some of the Kingdom’s knights.

“Alta, You should let me help you put on some sunscreen”

A female student called out to me as I sat in my chair. 

Her name is Minei Lotto. She is one of the first students that ever came up to me when I gave my first class. She’s part of a friend group of three girls.

Her swimsuit was a little revealing at the chest area. You could call it quite an alluring outfit.

…I’ve heard some rumors lately that it has become a thing to make little old me feel flustered with outfits like these.

But I don’t plan to live a life where I’d be much surprised by female nudity, so I managed to not give much of a reaction at this either.

The one that interrupted the conversation between me and Minei was Iris, who had all sorts of expressions on her face.

Alongside his own son’s scandal, he must be thinking it’s a good time for the crown to switch places. But currently, in the Kingdom, the only ones able to follow him up are too young, and that’s an issue.

And one of those candidates, Iris, is now looking at Minei running away.

This was the first time I felt that she was really distanced from the other students.

She’s been a candidate for the throne since the start, and she’d won the swordsmanship tournament at the age of ten, as the prodigy noble daughter.

As she faced me she looked at me as if she had noticed something, and acted like she was hiding something.

Then Alia stood next to Iris.

“What about mine?”

It wasn’t as obvious in Iris’ case, but Alia’s skin was very white in comparison to her black bathing suit.

Her own clothes always seem to have a lot of silk and cotton covering her skin… But her bathing suit was nothing like that. Perhaps it was even a little bit too revealing.

“You really don’t mind wearing a swimsuit that would attract the eyes of the male students, do you?”

“Iris bought the swimsuit that the school designated you to buy”

“Y-you don’t have to tell him that, do you!?”

“Designated by the school…? I thought you had no swimming class at the academy?”

“We don’t, but that’s the kind of class that wants you to buy swimwear, right? So the academy does have a designated swimsuit. Just no one wears it”

Is that right? I didn’t really understand much of those rules though…

So, there also is a rule that says you have to wear your designated swimsuit then?

Now that I think about it, it might be for the best that Iris actually tried to abide by such a rule.

“W-well, there is the rule that you have to wear it, so I did”

“Well, Iris was pretty picky about what swimsuit she should wear though”

“You don’t have to tell him that I said!”

“Ahaha, well, if you’re having fun, then so will I, Iris.

“Oh… Well, I am not really having that much fun though”

“Well, I too am quite done with just watching the students. Shall we go then?”

“Go? Where are we…?”

Iris looked puzzled.

Though I wore a coat, I had my swimsuit underneath. And since Iris was also wearing hers, it should be quite obvious where we’re going.

“To the sea. Your swimming lessons will start from now!”

There wasn’t that much time — It’d be best if I can teach Iris the basics of swimming right now.
