While the knights too were standing down, I noticed that someone was coming over towards us.

“My name is Alta Schweiss. House Scheiss is not of noble origin, but I will act as escort this time too. Please, excuse me whilst I travel with you too”

I introduced myself after Iris.

Eina stood there with a rather stern look on her face – It was Marshe that nodded in her stead.

“Understood, sir Alta. Please, wait for one moment” – Marshie said while moving towards Eina.

She whispered something in her ear, and Eina seemed to have returned her senses again.

“A-hum, excuse me. I was a bit surprised”

“You were surprised?”

“Don’t worry about it, little Iris”

“Lady Iris is of one of this Kingdom’s noble houses. You really shouldn’t address her like…”

“Hmph. This is in regards to the tour around the kingdom. Don’t you think it makes it easier to shed a bit of the formality, to make it easier for all of us?

As Eina said this, she once again looked over at Iris.

Iris nodded in response.

“…Right. Well, if that’s the case, then I will just call you Eina as well!”

“Mwa, that would help a lot. Shall we first go somewhere so we can have a talk?”

“Well, it seems that the other inspection team hasn’t arrived yet.   … So you’re instigating we should go before they arrive at all?”

Without thinking I told them what I thought too.

Whatever the case, I should still be able to sense the presence of a carriage, would it be close?

She is young and pretty, and though she is a girl, she has a future within the ranks of the Empire – If Iris, who is also vital to the Kingdom, is able to get along with 

with her, then the relation between the two states will definitely improve as well.

Yet still, there is one thing I don’t understand. Eina is barely even looking in my direction.

Whereas Eina is rather arrogant, Marsie is all the more polite.

I signed toward my knights in the back.

Several of the Black Wolf Knights were now to act as Eina’s escort.

The ones that were actually closest to Eina to protect her were me and Iris though.

For the time being, I would move where Eina too would.

“Well then, Iris will lead you around. If you would, please”
