Levelling Up In An Exclusive Dungeon - Chapter 11
The Titans were in disbelief that Ahn Doyoon was hit by a C-rank cleric hunter.
The executives argued that they should let go of the man who humiliated the guild, but Seo Sangho refused that proposition.
“The guild was defamed by Ahn Doyoon, not him.”
Ahn Doyoon knowingly put new recruits in danger’s way, and still tried to use violence against the person who saved their asses.
Seo Sangho wanted to punish Ahn Doyoon for that crime, and demote him to a regular guild member.
Such crime usually results in expulsion, but he wants to give him some consideration given his loyalty to the guild.
After kicking out all the executives from the conference room, Seo Sangho sighed and leaned back on his chair.
“It’s disappointing the more I think about it.”
Seo Sangho was very disappointed that Kang Jinhyuk couldn’t join the guild.
It’s amusing that a C-rank hunter was able to do such damage to an A-rank one.
It was obvious that he could become a much better hunter than Ahn Doyoon if he took some time.
Jinhyuk has the potential to become an S-rank hunter like himself.
It was a deep regret that he failed to recruit such talent.
“I really want to turn him into a big person.”
Fortunately, he was able to obtain Kang Jinhyuk’s contact information.
It’s enough to keep constant contact, so there’s a good chance that there would be another opportunity in the future.
“Shall I just invite him to be my drinking buddy?”
Although there’s no question about Jinhyuk’s abilities, Seo Sangho also liked Kang Jinhyuk’s cool attitude.
He was someone who refused additional rewards even though everyone recognized his contribution.
Regardless of whether Jinhyuk would join the guild or not, Sangho wanted to become friends with him.

“Should I have just accepted their offer?”
Jinhyuk felt some regret when he checked his account balance.
His expenses have increased more than expected because he purchased some potions and other scrolls and equipment.
He refused the Titans’ reward because he thought he could just earn money through the dungeon anyway.
Thinking about it now, he realized that he didn’t have to refuse their reward.
“I shouldn’t have refused their money just to look cool.”
It’s true that he’s got a good image now as a cleric, but it was foolish to give up benefits that were available to him right away.
“Well f**k it, I’m not leaving the dungeon until I make up for the loss today.”
Kang Jinhyuk, who felt firmly determined, quickly opened the door to his attic.
As soon as he entered the dungeon, he knew that the dwarf was making something again because of the intense heat.
“Is he increasing his collection again?”
He thought he shouldn’t disturb the dwarf while he was busy, so he headed straight downstairs towards the gate.
When he reached deep into the forest and passed by the cave, a group of Orcs welcomed him.
“Hmm.”
The orcs who discovered Jinhyuk walked towards him with a threatening aura.
Despite around 20 orcs surrounding him, Jinhyuk kept his calm.
He managed to beat two of these before when his level was still lower, so there’s no reason to be worried.
Kang Jinhyuk made the first move and swung his bat in a flash.
The orc was too slow and his skull was completely crushed.
“Beating these 20 orcs would be a piece of cake.”
Luckily, the first orc that Jinhyuk hit was the leader of the bunch.
The other orcs panicked after losing their leader, and they all scurried and tried to run away.
After 10 minutes, Jinhyuk managed to overpower all the orcs.
While Jinhyuk was putting the orc corpses in his inventory, he discovered a staircase that looked exactly like the one on the first floor.
“Does this lead to a lower floor?”
Just like this forest, it’s possible that stronger monsters live on the flood below.
Because he was confident in his skills, Jinhyuk didn’t hesitate to go down.
[Current Location – 3rd Floor ‘The Devil’s Temple Labyrinth’]
[Floor 3 registered as warp gate.]
The notification appeared when Jinhyuk stepped on the stairs.
The notification said this floor was a labyrinth, but it didn’t look like one.
It looked like an old temple.
The walls were all filled with moss, and there was no sign of any person at all.
“It feels kinda creepy.”
It’s fortunate that the surroundings were well lit as if the sun had just risen.
The place would’ve felt like a haunted house if it was dark.
It was an odd place, but Jinhyuk had no intention of going back.
“I might encounter some materials for enchantment in this place.”
Aluminum was not a scarce material in the outside world, so he was sure that he’ll find some materials for enchantment in no time.
Kang Jinhyuk wondered what kind of monsters lived in this place.
As if it heard his curiosity, a Golem suddenly appeared from the ground.
“What is this out of nowhere?”
Right after it spawned from the ground, the golem tried to hit Jinhyuk with its fist of stone.
Jinhyuk managed to step back and dodge, but that was a close call.
Jinhyuk’s confidence faltered at the sight of the golem’s fist.
No matter how durable his mithril armor was, he knew it couldn’t withstand several hits from the golem.
“I need to beat him fast and get out of here…”
Jinhyuk ran quickly when he found an opening as the golem was fixing its posture.
When the golem’s head was hit firmly with the bat, the stone head was shattered.
However, unlike other monsters, the golem didn’t die from losing its head.
The golem’s unstoppable fist landed a hit on Jinhyuk’s body.
“Geuuk!”
Thanks to the effect of the chain armor, Jinhyuk was able to avoid fatal injuries.
Jinhyuk rolled back once and got up.
He tried to pretend to be calm, but he couldn’t overcome the pain and he eventually collapsed on one knee.
“He dealt this much damage to me…?”
The golem was stronger than he expected, but the problem was it didn’t die despite its being crushed.
There was no information about the golem in the outside world.
Jinhyuk has to figure it out blindly.
“Usually, golems are defeated in manhwas by destroying their core.”
The bat’s enchanted effect should’ve revealed the golem’s vital point, but that didn’t happen now.
There was no part of the golem that shone particularly.
Therefore, Jinhyuk has to find the golem’s core with his naked eye.
“Does this thing even have a core in the first place?”
The truth is, ‘golem’s core’ was only a thing that appeared in novels and manhwas.
There was no guarantee that it existed in reality.
“I thought an ordinary monster would appear in here… Why is it this golem out of all things?”
Jinhyuk realized that he was not ready for this floor, so he prepared to escape right away.
However, the golem was faster than he could take out the returning stone from his inventory.
“Woah!”
Because he lost his balance, Jinhyuk lost the returning stone that he was taking out from his inventory.
The golem then tried to wave its fist on Jinhyuk who fell down.
Jinhyuk hurriedly reached forward and used one of a cleric’s skills.
“Holy shield!”
A golden shield appeared in front of Jinhyuk and successfully blocked the golem’s fist.
But it’s too early to let his guard down.
Because the skill’s level was still low, the shield would break soon.
If the golem punches again, the shield would probably won’t sustain it.
“Fxxk!”
As Jinhyuk tried to hurriedly get up, someone shouted at him.
“Stay seated right there!”
Shortly after the voice was heard, an arrow passed over Jinhyuk’s head and penetrated the center of the golem’s chest.
The golem whose chest was penetrated became an ordinary stone and collapsed in an instant.
At that moment, Jinhyuk realized that the golem’s core was in its chest.
There’s no more reason to be scared now that he knows the golem’s vital point.
Kang Jinhyuk immediately got up and threw his bat to a different golem that was rushing towards him.
The baseball bat flew at a high speed and hit the golem’s chest accurately.
The golem soon collapsed too.
After catching the baseball bat thanks to the recovery function, Jinhyuk sighed in relief.
“Wooh… I almost got in huge trouble.”
Jinhyuk took a deep breath and looked in the direction from which the arrow flew.
He discovered a person with a brown hood covering his whole body, and a bow that was covering her face.
The person’s gender couldn’t be deciphered from their looks, but the voice definitely belonged to a woman’s
Kang Jinhyuk thought that she was also a person living in the dungeon, just like the dwarf.
Her clothes doesn’t look like she belongs to the outside world.
“Thank you for helping me.”
Jinhyuk approached her to give his thanks, but the other quickly grabbed his face.
“A-ah?”
It happened suddenly that Jinhyuk didn’t have time to think about why he was suddenly grabbed in the face.
The hooded person pulled Jinhyuk’s face and asked him.
“Where did you come from?”
“Eh?”
“I asked where you came from. Are you trapped in here too? Or did you come here from the outside?”
That was an unexpected question.
Jinhyuk answered with no hesitation.
“I came from the outside.”
As soon as the other heard his answer, her behavior became more intense.
She grabbed Jinhyuk’s collar with both hands and shook Jinhyuk’s body back and forth.
“You came from the outside?! When?!”
“T-today.”
“Where? How?!”
“I saw the entrance so I just went in!”
Jinhyuk was about to get motion sickness because the person was shaking him too much.
As he was about to tell her to stop shaking him, her hands fell off.
She let go of him so suddenly that Jinhyuk didn’t have time to recover.
Jinhyuk lost his balance and fell on the floor.
“Aigoo… What the heck are you doing?!”
The hooded person did not pay attention to Jinhyuk’s protest.
She was muttering something, as if she was in deep thought.
‘Is she mentally ill?’
Jinhyuk slipped back with the intention of running away.
When he moved about 10 cm, an arrow quickly passed over his head.
“Where are you going.”
Jinhyuk only managed to open his mouth from shock.
He didn’t see any motion of pulling out an arrow and shooting with a bow, yet an arrow suddenly flew above his head.
He realized that he doesn’t dare to fight this person.
“Take me to the entrance from where you came in.”
“….”
Jinhyuk nodded with a pale face.
He might end up with a lot of holes in his body if he rejected.
“Good answer.”
The other person put her bow back, satisfied.
And then, she took off the hood that was covering her face.
Her hair was a shining blonde color, her eyes were green, and her ears were pointed.
Jinhyuk, who saw the appearance of what obviously looked like an Eld, shut his mouth in surprise.
