The End

After joining with Miriam’s father, Ferdinand, the party resumed on their way, and soon after reached the entrance hall.

Miriam couldn’t see a single guard or red-robed person from then on. Although she felt relieved at that, she was also confused. However, her confusion vanished as soon as they reached the entrance.

“Prince Emilio!”

She saw her beloved fiancee standing there when they arrived at the entrance. Miriam rushed forward towards him.

“Miriam!”

When Emilio saw her, he spread open his arms and ran towards her.

And then, he swept her up into his arms and hugged her tightly while he made sure she was alright.

“Ah! I’m so glad you’re okay, Miriam!”

“Prince Emilio! I thought I’d never see you again!”

He let her down and then hugged her once again. Miriam let out a sigh of contentment at the warmth of his arms and hugged him back with tears in her eyes.

In the back of the entrance hall, the Duke of Saint Angelo, Count Feline, and several other nobles were tied up with ropes.

The reason why she hadn’t seen any guards on the way here was probably that their leader had been captured. 

The Count’s face heated up when he spotted his own silver-haired son in between the party.

“Gilbert! You bastard! You betrayed us!”

Gil walked briskly to his father whose face was red with anger. He gazed down at him with cold golden eyes.

“You! To betray your own father like this who raised you till now! Did you never see me as your father in the first place!?”

“Gil interrupted the count’s words with his own.

“Give me a break. Don’t just make me into a God as you please. It’s getting boring now. Restoration of the Feline family? That’s absurd! You don’t even know me! I’m just me! Betraying my father? Ha! Have you ever even looked at me as Gilbert, your son!?”

Gil let out all he had to say and then walked out of the entrance hall.

The Count was left hanging his head.

After handing the Duke and the others to the Imperial guards, they stepped out of the boundary of the Duke’s mansion. Valeria, who was waiting outside, took the sleeping Robin. Eleonora conjured a silver magic circle in the sky and they all returned to the castle safely.

And so, the kidnapping incident of the second prince and the first prince’s fiance came to an end.
