Selesina got onto the carriage with heavy feet. She was on her way to meet Meria since she was invited previously.

She was guided to the reception room where she took a small rest.

Hisui was looking around the room.

She was dressed in the robes of a shrine maiden.

Selesina nodded and followed Meria out of the room.

On reaching her room, Meria served them some tea and sweets.

She served some tea to Hisui as well who was waiting behind on a smaller table.

Selesina and Hisui extended their appreciation and Meria immediately began to speak. Looks like she had been waiting.”

“I was really looking forward to meeting you Lady Selesina. I was told that we cannot invite friends here but……………I really wanted to teach you what I’ve learned so I somehow managed to get permission!”

“Is, is that so…………?”

Selesina had assumed that it was okay to invite people over but she now realized that Meria had to do a lot in order to get permission. Selesina wondered whether she wanted to call her that badly.

She drank her tea in order to calm down and then looked at Meria.

“Yes! That’s why I wanted to teach it to Lady Selesina as well!”

Meria clapped her hands in delight and showed her a full smile.

Teaching someone of a station higher than her like Selesina is a little tricky but Selesina smiled as she was open to listening.

Hisui looked like he couldn’t believe his ears after hearing that Meria was talking about how she would teach Selesina but maybe that wasn’t the case.

“Lady Meria, you’re blessed by the God of Fertility Frey, right? You must surely be loved.”

“Yes, that right!

I’ve been studying about the Gods here and learned that talking to the Gods is very important………

I’ll show it to you!”

Meria really seemed like she wanted to show the power of her blessings. She got up from the chair and bought the small flower pot that was resting at the window.

A pink flower that was usually seen everywhere was blooming on it.

She placed the flower pot on the desk, folded her hands, and closed her eyes. She began to focus in order to pray.

“God of Fertility that has blessed me, please respond to my voice.”

As Meria said that, a faint light wrapped around her body and the pink flower began to tremble slightly.

It was as if the God of Fertility Frey was telling her, “I’m here.”

Meria said.
